Atlantic City’s Steel Pier For Sale

For $85 million, a famous piece of Atlantic City’s oceanfront heritage just went up for sale. Once dubbed the “Showplace of the Nation,” the renowned Steel Pier is one of the East Coast’s most identifiable structures. The amusement pier, which is a bit larger than five acres, is located across from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on the Atlantic City boardwalk.

The site, which is 965 feet long and 150 feet broad, has condo-hotel approvals and a helipad. The pier is fixed 90 feet into bedrock and was unaffected by Superstorm Sandy. Additionally, it has a 40,000-square-foot structure that connects to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino via a sky bridge.
