Baby Boomers Hogging the Housing Market

Baby boomers are still the major factor in US home purchases. According to the National Association of Realtors, baby boomers made up 42% of home buyers in the past year, compared to just 29% for millennials. And while 95% of buyers under age 44 used a mortgage, close to 50% of buyers over age 60 were able to use cash.
