Florida’s Surging Beach Town

Once known as a “sleepy fishing village,” Pompano Beach, Florida, has become one of the country’s trendiest beach towns, but it still offers better pricing and a prettier beach than most other South Florida beach towns. Located between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, Pompano Beach has transformed into a sanctuary for luxury-branded condos while still maintaining much of its old-world charm.

With a population of 118,000, the city is currently experiencing over a dozen significant real estate projects, including branded luxury apartments, commercial development, and even a $2 billion, 70-acre downtown area makeover. Now under construction, the Waldorf Astoria, which is 90% sold, is just two blocks from the Pompano Beach Ritz-Carlton, which is 95% sold. There is currently more Pompano Beach oceanfront condo construction than any other Florida town.
