According to the online trading platform Atmos Funded, the #1 city in the world for retirees is Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. The country in southern Africa was once part of the German Empire and still retains much of the German culture and architecture. The analysis looked at Windhoek’s inexpensive cost of living, walkability, and quality of life. A single person’s average monthly expenses are $2,020, which includes rent ($447) and daily necessities ($680).
