More US Homes Listed, But Fewer Sales

Major American cities, including Seattle and Nashville, are finally seeing an increase in home listings. According to Homes.com, the national inventory of homes increased in 70% of 930 markets as buyers remained cautious. In Seattle, listings increased 21.5% to 15,959 homes, but home sales declined 12.8%. And in Nashville, sellers have given buyer incentives up to $36,000 and lower commissions, but listings are up 18.7% and sales are down by 7%.
