Dolly Parton passed away at the age of 80. Despite being a well-known musician and star since the early 1970s, she led a secluded life at home and never went for the big Beverly Hills mansion or Florida oceanfront penthouse that many celebrities go for. The Dollywood amusement park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is her well-known commercial property, but the residences she occupied with her late husband, Carl Thomas Dean, are less well-known. Dolly and Carl bought a home near Nashville in 1999, which was their primary home. Dolly owned several other homes in California and Tennessee.
