With the country’s first Green Dining District, a #1 ranking in the state from Area Vibes, a low cost of living, and a main street lined with lively shops and restaurants, Maplewood, Missouri was recently ranked as America’s Best Suburb by GoBankingRates. Located a few miles west of St. Louis, Maplewood scored an A+ for its cost of living and for education, and an A- for housing. Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, came in at #2, and Brentwood, Pennsylvania is #3—both towns are located near Pittsburgh.
