Midwest Home Sales Lead the US
US home-buying contracts increased by about 2% in October, with the Midwest posting a 5.3% increase and the more expensive Western US down 1.5%, compared to October 2024. With lower interest rates, the National Association of Realtors projects existing home sales to increase 14% in 2026.
